Connected home
Bring your connected home into the picture.
See compatible readings alongside your home’s records and plans, with clear control over each connection.

An honest reading
A reading you can trust, even when it is old.
HoWA shows a device reading with its source and timestamp, and says plainly when a value is stale or a device is offline. An offline device cannot receive a command, and HoWA never pretends otherwise.

Two different capabilities
Reading a device is not the same as controlling it.
A reading
See a supported value with its source and timestamp, including when that reading is stale or the device is offline.
A control
Where the device and your permission allow it, HoWA can send a supported request and show whether it was acknowledged.
Permission first
Each connection should explain what it can read, what it can control and what permission is needed before you enable it.
Disconnect when you choose
Remove a connection when you want to, with its offline and disconnection behaviour explained clearly.
A reading that belongs to the rest of the home.
A useful device reading makes more sense beside the room, system, record or plan it relates to, rather than as another isolated screen.

About the HoWA Home Hub
Supported devices can connect without a HoWA Home Hub where the current connection allows it. The future Hub is a separate proposition, not a requirement for using supported connections today. The doll’s house is a visual model of the home, not hardware you need to buy.
