HoWA

Accessibility

HoWA should be easy to use.

Access is a condition of the work, not an afterthought. Here is what we hold ourselves to, and how to reach us if something falls short.

Our commitments

  • We target WCAG 2.2 AA across public pages and the address-entry flow.
  • Navigation, menus, accordions, address lookup, modals and forms are keyboard-operable.
  • Focus states are always visible, and fit the brand without disappearing.
  • Text contrast is at least 4.5:1; large display text at least 3:1.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 CSS pixels.
  • Headings, landmarks, form labels, validation and status messages are semantic.
  • Product and home imagery has meaningful alternative text; decorative brand assets are hidden from assistive technology.
  • No essential information lives only in an image or in colour.
  • Motion respects reduced-motion settings; video can be paused; there is no autoplay audio.
  • Score explanations are available as text, not only a dial or colour.

If you meet a barrier on any HoWA page, tell us and we will put it right. Reporting an accessibility problem is always free.
