Privacy notice

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This notice explains what happens to your personal information when you visit the main HoWA website, send us an enquiry or register your interest. HoWA Home, HoWA Living and HoWA Business have their own websites and their own notices.

The short version

  • HoWA Living Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected on this website.
  • If you send an enquiry, we use your details to read and reply to it. It does not sign you up to marketing.
  • If you register interest, we email you only about the products you choose, because you asked us to. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analytics cookies are off unless you turn them on. We use no advertising cookies.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

HoWA is a service provided by HoWA Living Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 15470281. Registered office: 12 Hatherley Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 4DT. HoWA Living Ltd operates this website and is the data controller for the personal information described here.

To ask about this notice or your information, email hello@howa.co.uk or write to us at the registered office.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

Our contact form asks for your name, your email address, the type of enquiry (general, product or partnership) and your message. We use these details to read your enquiry, reply to it and keep a record of what was discussed. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing.

Please do not include sensitive personal information, documents, account details or photographs in your message. We do not need them.

When you register interest

The register interest form on our homepage asks for your name, your email address and which products you would like to hear about: HoWA Home early access, HoWA Living updates or HoWA Business launch news. We record your choices and that you joined through this website.

We use these details to email you about the products you chose, and nothing else. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by registering. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing us. Each product has its own list, so you can leave one and stay on another.

Keeping the forms safe

To stop spam and automated messages, both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that looks at technical signals from your browser and your IP address. Both forms also check how quickly they were filled in, and the register interest form uses your IP address briefly, in the server's memory, to limit repeated attempts. None of this is saved with your enquiry or registration. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our inbox from abuse.

Analytics, only if you agree

If you allow analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to count page views, which links and examples are used, and that a form was sent. It never receives your name, your email address or the content of an enquiry. Google receives technical information such as your browser, device and approximate location, which it works out from your IP address. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can change at any time under Cookie preferences. See our cookie notice.

Running the website

Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

If you email us

We use your email address and what you tell us to reply. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.

We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing, and we do not use your information for advertising.
